Job description
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist with a strong technical background to join the Business Intelligence team and participate in the evolution of the company's analytical environment.
The selected professional will work on the maintenance and evolution of the analytical platform based on DataStage and Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), collaborating with different business areas to transform analytical needs into technical solutions.
Functions and responsibilities
The main functions of the position include:
- Interact with different business units to understand their analytical needs and translate them into concrete projects.
- Design informational data models.
- Design and develop complex ETL flows using DataStage.
- Design and develop models, reports, and dashboards using MicroStrategy (Strategy).
- Design and develop data validation and reconciliation processes in both the loading and reporting phases.
- Manage incidents in daily data provisioning processes in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Advise business analysts on the use of the company's analytical tools.
- Monitor and optimize processes and reports to ensure high performance.
- Participate in the definition and execution of the roadmap for the evolution of the analytical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum experience: 5 years
- Minimum education: University degree (preferably in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar)
Required technical experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DataStage.
- At least 2 years of experience in MicroStrategy (Strategy).
- Experience in SQL.
- Experience in Linux / Unix environments.
- Experience with DB2 LUW databases.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector (valued positively).

Conditions
- Type of contract: Permanent
- Work schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
- Work arrangement: Partial teleworking
- Salary: €55,000 gross per year
